Summary

The objective of the project is the experimental evaluation of the reaction of farmers to the greener approach of the European Agricultural Policy (CAP).

The three sub-objectives are:

i) to understand how behavioural and attitude factors can impact the effectiveness of the CAP's greener approach;

ii) assess the relative effectiveness of the greener approach by the first pillar (green payment per hectare) and the second pillar (agricultural environmental measures), bearing in mind the existence of these biases;

iii) show how the response to the CAP's greener approach subsidies can be influenced and, in turn, influence the performance of agricultural enterprises.
