Economic experiments for EU agricultural policy evaluation: Methodological challenges

During the workshop, methodological challenges associated with the use of experimental approaches to evaluate agricultural policies will be discussed. We have invited speakers (researchers or people working close to policy makers) to present their work and shed some light on these methodological challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to share the methodological challenges they face and/or ideas to overcome them during the workshop through different activities (world café, discussions following roundtables and presentations by invited speakers…). We believe that this format will allow indepth discussions and will help us to build a productive working group on experimental approaches for agricultural policy evaluation.

Concerning your trip to Angers, please have in mind that the 5^th June is a bank holiday in France.

The closest airports are Paris-Orly and Nantes. You can then reach Angers by TGV (high-speed train): 1 hours and 30 minutes from Paris and 40 minutes from Nantes.

The workshop venue is on the main university campus (Belle-Beille). It is 30 minutes by bus from the city center or the train station (bus 1).
